WHY I PREFER TO USE ALBERT RABENSTEIN TIBETAN BOWLS?

These TBs are tuned according to the harmonic scale, meaning that they have the fundamental sound and all the harmonics are perfectly tuned between one-another.

But we know that not all of the bowls on the market are the same quality. 

If you want to know if YOURS are well tuned, you can do a test.

The first thing to know is that it should have only ONE fundamental sound. You can try giving it a flick with the leather clapper in different points around the edge.

If you hear that the sound changes, it means it has two different fundamental sounds.

If we hear the same sound in all the places that we flick it, it means it's tuned.

You can also make a test using a wooden clapper.  The flick with the wooden clapper and the sound that derives from it has to be the same sound as when you spin it.

Therefore: if you want to use a Tibetan Bowl to enhance HARMONY, it is important to understand how much in harmony your bowl actually is!
